Susanna (Xiaofen) Shen, L.Ac., Professor

Dr. Shen has been an acupuncturist and an herbalist since she graduated from University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Fujian, China, in 1986. She has worked as a physician-in-charge in Quanzhou First Hospital, an acupuncturist in pain management in Los Angeles, a professor in American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco and a provider of California Continuing Education. Since 1995, Dr. Shen has taught at Five Branches University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Santa Cruz. She currently teaches Chinese herbal medicine and supervises clinical practices at Five Branches University.

Stella Underwood

Stella is a state certified massage therapist and Asian bodywork practitioner. She is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute and Five Branches University’s ABQ extension program. Her areas of study include Eastern and Western bodywork modalities, energy therapies, anatomy, kinesiology, physiology, and pathology.

Clinic

Our clinic is a short distance north from where Highway I-280 crosses Highway 85, in the Los Altos Professional Center. The center features a private parking lot with ample spots. Our clinic is located in the back corner of the first floor, farthest away from the street entrance.

For our patients' comfort and convenience, our facility features restrooms and heated treatment tables.

We carry medicinal herbs, pills and powders. You can also find bottled juices of super fruits from around the globe, such as acaí berries, goji berries and noni.
